We are proud to have Laura return this year to work her magic at Healing the Heart as our Emcee and Deejay. Laura supports community organizations in a number of ways, providing DJ services at special ed proms and events, leading fitness classes and outings for previously incarcerated women at Crossroads, Inc., and helping out Project Sister Family Services when we call upon her! Laura creates a wonderful evening of entertainment with her charismatic personality and eclectic music selection.
My name is Alisa and I am 27 years old. In 2002, at the age of 16, I was brutally sexually assaulted by three guys I thought were my friends. It took over three years to convict and sentence these guys to six years in prision. In the end, I received the justice I fought very hard for and would not give up until I received. Over the past 10 years I have rebuilt my life and turned the negative events that have happened to me into hope and inspiration for other sexual assault victims. Today, I am a survivor and a sexual assault victim advocate. I now share my story and strength with others to help them become survivors too.
Sponsorship, advertisement and In-Kind Donor opportunities available.
